Your inquiry. Your choices.
Information you submit
When you request a screening plan, a conversation, support, or a resource, we store your contact details, the context you provide, and the time and source of your request. The request is saved in our website inquiry system and queued for sync to our internal prospect records. Delivery services may process it to notify our team or email the resource you requested.
We use a requested follow-up to respond about that inquiry. Downloading a resource does not silently request a sales conversation. Please do not send customer names, identity documents, or credentials in website forms.
Optional marketing email
The marketing checkbox is optional and starts unchecked. If you select it, we record that choice and its version separately from your inquiry. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages or contact support@circlescheck.com to change your preference.
Usage analytics
If you allow usage analytics and visitor journeys, we record public page visits and actions such as opening a sample report or selecting a plan. A signed, first-party browser cookie, cc_visitor, lasts up to 30 days. It identifies this browser, rather than proving who a person is. Sessions restart after 30 minutes without recorded activity. We may retain campaign attribution such as UTM source and referring host. We also use Umami and, when configured, Google Analytics for aggregate measurement. Visitor and session IDs, form names, email addresses, and messages are excluded from Umami events. We do not record form contents, customer records, session replays, or raw IP addresses in the journey timeline.
Linking visits to your details
A separate optional choice allows us to attach this browser’s earlier and future visits to details you provide through an inquiry or account. It requires analytics consent, and does not grant permission for marketing email. Without this choice, visits stay pseudonymous. Submitted contact details are labelled as submitted; an authenticated or verified account provides different evidence. A shared browser may be used by more than one person.
Company identification
If you separately allow company identification and a vendor tracker is configured, Leadfeeder by Dealfront can use website visits and network information to identify visiting companies. This is distinct from submitting your own contact details and does not identify every individual visitor. The tracker is disabled until you choose this option.
Change your choices
Use “Privacy preferences” in the footer to choose analytics, contact linkage, and any configured company-identification service. All start off until chosen. Your version-2 preference cookie, cc_privacy, is shared across circlescheck.com and its subdomains and lasts up to 180 days. Earlier preferences require a fresh choice. When analytics or linkage is withdrawn, we queue removal of the native browser journey and clear its actor cookie. A short-lived essential marker keeps tracking and linkage paused if removal needs a retry. Attribution is cleared when analytics is declined. Withdrawing an enabled external tracker may reload the page; it does not remove visits already recorded by that vendor.
Our forms work with optional tracking disabled. Essential storage used for form submission, preferences, and account functions remains available.
Journey retention
Raw native journey events are retained for up to 30 days while anonymous and up to 90 days when linked to a submitted contact or account. A scheduled cleanup applies these limits. Pending website event delivery is bounded and expires after 30 days; a queued removal continues retrying until acknowledged. Inquiry and account records have their own retention policy and are not erased merely by turning off journey tracking.
