The baseline level of checks to understand a customer and their risk, required for most regulated onboarding flows.

Customer Due Diligence (CDD) is the standard set of checks used to identify a customer and evaluate risk. CDD may include identity verification, screening, beneficial ownership (for entities), and an understanding of the expected nature and purpose of the relationship.
